Untitled;
Oh my god, Michelle, your post was 963 words long! Nine Hundred and Sixty-Three, I repeat. And my previous post was short and so, initially I planned on making this post much longer than yours to make up for it, and now, if so, this post would have to be 1500 wods long or something. Which is C-R-A-Z-Y. It's like the length of an essay you'd write for a competition. But oh well, that'd be my aim for this post. 1500 words. (Don't count on it!)
Okay, so I have no idea what title to use and so here's it -- An Untitled Post. O.O
I feel frustrated lately. Like for no apparent reason, I'd just feel like screaming/sleeping/tugging my hair. Sounds senseless I know but ah well. I think this post is going to be really random. And hence, I'll classify them into different sections so it wouldn't be that messy/boring.
Topic 1: Sec Three Life... & PlacementWell, this is a topic I really dread cause it kinda forces me to think about the really near future-- Sec Three years. I guess I expected that we'd be in different classes, but it hasn't really hit on me on how lessons would go on w/o your presence, or Michellina's, or my clique, and so on. I guess I'd only know for sure when 2007 starts and that's a year I'm really dreading. Let's see, in 3G2, I know... SEVEN PEOPLE. Of which, I'm only
relatively close to one-- Isabel. And to begin with, Isabel and I isn't exactly super close nor what you can consider the best of friends. And there's a whole load of Band people in G2, and hence Isabel would be hanging around them. And that leaves me, alone.
Also, Sec Three means more subjects, (2 Sciences!), a much heavier workload and hence a whole much more stress. (And omg, we have to take CME next year as well. Can you believe that? What the hell.) Not forgetting the 'make-new-friends' phase we have to go through again; 2007 doesn't exactly sound exciting.
And regarding placement, I'm still torned between Elective History and Elective Geog. Somebody kill me! ): I was so adamant on Pure Lit+ Elect History, and Seniors start going:
'Omg, YOU DIE IN PURE LIT!!'
or 'WHAT?! YOU CHOSE ELECT HISTORY?!?!'
and stuff like 'Crazy! Elect. Histroy will you pull all your grades down!!'
and then there's the, 'Sec Three you die, die, die!!!!'
And trust me, these comments really sway your thoughts and now I've no idea whether Elect. History was the right choice. What a good way for seniors to 'encourage' us. Sigh, what can I say?; Growing up is stressful.
Topic 2: Weird and strange relatives.WELL WELL, this topic is awesome. Not for the fact that I've great relatives but just the contrary. MY RELATIVES ARE ONE AND ONLY. They are really 'First-Class'. Well, let me give you an example. I've a cousin whom I'll refer to Eg.1. She is... oh my, there are no words that can describe her. Let me tell you some of the atrocities she does. In primary Six, she had an 'enemy' called Michelle Lew and because she hated that Michelle Lew, she'd draw nude (yes, nude) pictures of Michelle.L and then crumple and tear up that piece of paper. Tell me, doesn't she have a mental disorder? I was so freaked out when I found out. Like she draws her enemy with inproportional eyes, noses, hands and so on for revenge. Gosh, she is creepy. And her father suffers from colon cancer, (yes, I sympathise with her for that). But guess what she said after her father passed away?
"I wish it was my mother who died instead" I was like WHAT THE HELL?!
And Eg.2 is a distant cousin of mine. She's the same age as me and I've met her when I was young, but we've never said a single word to each other. And I just saw her lately at a family dinner and I was with my cousin, Russell, from ACSB. Maybe she thinks he's good looking, or that him and I are very intelligent, or that we're just wonderful and cool. And in any case, within the next day, she added both of us on Friendster and she has sent me about a thousand testimonials as though we're best of friends. Righhhhttt.. And she was whining on how much she hated her Secondary school the whole dinner. Like hello, get a life honey!
But anyway, not all of my relatives are weird. I've this really cute cousin who's like 2 years old. And super cute cousins from the age or 1 to seven. And I guess, after that age, some of them go monstrous. And anyway, I want to share this conversation with you! It's between one of my super cute cousins who is 9 I think, and my aunty a.k.a his mother.
Aunty (talking to my uncle): Eh, send me to
VIVIO (it's VIVO) city later k. I need to do my hair.
Cousin (to my aunty): MUMMY, can you pronouce properly? It's VIVO. Not VIVIO! And it's 'STAPLE (the paper together)' not 'STAPLER!'
Aunty: *looks embarrassed*
Cousin: And what's the 6 o'clock show?
Aunty: The JACK and Cody?
Cousin: SEE!! It's ZACK and cody!!
HAHAHA. Children these days are so intelligent huh. I was at the back seat trying hard not to laugh.
Topic 3: Guides :( OH MAN. You wouldn't want to know what happened yesterday (Monday). Alright, on second thought, you would, cause you'd want a good laugh at guides. ):
So here goes;
You know, there's Guides every Monday and Thursday. And yesterday, during Guides, the programme consisted of SINGALONG. Which simply means, all the Guides sit together, and SING! (Sounds stupid right) And the seniors stand in front telling us to sing louder, what song to sing and so on. So usually, this is done in a Sec Three or Two class, faraway from everyone. But guess what. On Monday, the seniors tried to be funny and held the Singalong in the CANTEEN. In front of Hockey, BAND, Softball, Track, Dance NP, NC, Redcross and one thousand and one PRC Schloars + Teachers. And, they got us to sing GAKO. And we all were like 'WHOAA?' but we still had to sing 'cos the seniors were really fierce. And it was in front of Michellina, Mavis, Tessa and everyone else. And all the CCA's were giving us the 'what-the-hell-do-you-think-you're-doing' look. And it was so embarrassingggggggggggggg ): And later, Tessa said 'Guides today was really weird' and everyone was laughing their head offfff. ):
Conclusion: Guides was horrible ):
Topic 4: RANDOMS
So yeah, anything interesting up with you so far? Guess what, Jinhow wants to invite us and the other Drama teachers for COFFEE. Interested? :/ HAHA. He's abit.. weird. Haha. I mean, which teacher that teaches us for like three lessons keeps in touch with their students and wants to treat them to coffee? And he even wanted us to all go for musical evening together. Haha, abit strange I must say. And I must proudly say, I have not touched my homework (apart for English)! How am I going to cope with the countless stress and pressure (refer to topic #1) in Secondary Three! Man, I'm screwd.
Oh, and have you watched step up? It's awesome, I swear. Haha, I've watched it thrice already. Hahaha, and Material Girls is so stupid, honestly, DON'T EVER WATCH IT. But yeah, Step Up is hot love <3!>
Okay, I've really nothing more to say and my hand's getting tired. I'd add more later if I feel like it I guess.
Alright, I think I'll end with lyrics or a very long quote so I can finish this up once and for all.
Hmm, so what lyrics? .....
Song: Reach
Artist: Caleight Peters
Sometimes it seems like you’re falling,
Falling out of the sky.
Sometimes it feels like you’re slipping,
And running out of time. And that’s when
you’ve gotta throw it all away;
All of the things that people say.
And all of the doubts that fill your mind,
Don’t belong there. Whatever you do,
you’ll never be wrong.
As long as you reach for it. When you reach for it, nothing's too far.
And its never too long, as long as you reach for it.
You can dream on it, everywhere its there.
Sometimes I can be stupid,
I can get out of line.
But most times you know what I’m doing;
Its not like some big surprise.
Oh and I,
I just want to make you understand.
That
failing on me isn’t in my plans. And all of the doubts that fill my mind,
Don’t belong there.
Whatever you do, you’ll never be wrong.
As long as you reach for it.
When you reach for it, nothing's to far.
And its never too long, as long as you reach for it.
You can dream on it, everywhere its there.
There’s so much distance,
Between what you want and what you’ve got. But if you really want it-its your life.
So you gotta try.
You’ve gotta fly.
Whatever you do, you’ll never be wrong.
You can reach for it,
You can reach for it.
Its never too far and its never too long.
As long as you reach for it.
You can dream on it,
Everywhere. (All you gotta do is reach for it)
Everywhere. (All you gotta do is reach for it)
Whatever you do, you’ll never be wrong. (All you gotta do is reach for it)
As long as you reach for it. (All you gotta do is reach for it)
When you reach for it, nothing's to far.
And its never too long, as long as you reach for it.
You can dream on it,
Everywhere
Everywhere
Everywhere
Everywhere
What can I say? 1670 words darling! Beat that. I'M AMAZING! HAHAHAHA.
Love and Peace!
